Gongliao Abalone

"Gongliao Abalone" refers to small abalone (Haliotis diversicolor) and black-foot abalone (Haliotis discus) cultivated along the coastal waters of Gongliao District in the Northeast Coast. Farmers utilize tidal water flow along the shore, raising the abalone with pure seawater from the Northeast Coast and fresh algae, entirely without artificial feed.

Gongliao Abalone is known for its springy texture, delicious flavor, and premium quality that meets export standards. It also holds traceability certification, making it a trusted local seafood brand that emphasizes safety and locality.

The abalone has an oval shell with a low, flat spire, giving it an ear-like shape. A row of small holes runs along the upper edge of the shell, increasing in number as it grows, typically ranging from seven to ten. It is ideal for steaming, five-flavor seasoning, or stewing in chicken soup, making it a highly nutritious delicacy.
