New Taipei Farmers Booths
To implement the policy of supporting small farmers and help local farmers sell their produce, the city actively promotes the Farmers Booths as a platform for distributing and showcasing fresh, safe, and reliable local agricultural products. This not only safeguards public health but also ensures that farmers are not exploited by middlemen, thereby increasing their income and boosting the local economy.
Farmers Booths are established at both production and consumption sites throughout the city, providing dedicated sales venues for farmers. This helps increase their income, improve their livelihoods, and provides planning and guidance for establishing Farmers Booths. Markets have already been established in Shenkeng, Sanzhi, Tamsui, Yingge, Xindian, Shuangxi, Shiding, Sanchong, Wugu, Linkou, Shulin, and Tucheng.
