Yufeng Rice
The Agriculture Bureau of the New Taipei City Government, in collaboration with the Farmers' Association, and the Environmental Ethics Foundation of Taiwan(EEFT), launched the Waterbird-Friendly Farming initiative in Tianliaoyang, Gongliao. The goal is to integrate agricultural production with waterbird conservation. Through these collaborative endeavors, Gongliao Tianliaoyang’s first eco-friendly agricultural brand, “Xin-Niao Dao-Zhan,” (meaning “Arrival of Migratory Birds) and “Yufeng Rice”, the brand’s flagship product, have entered the market.
With the support of conservation efforts, farmers have expanded their eco-friendly cultivation areas. Their participation has been a great encouragement to the New Taipei City Government, the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency and the local Farmers’ Association.
The new season “Yufeng Rice” is now available at the Panchiao District Farmers' Association. Let’s support New Taipei's eco-friendly agricultural products together!
